Wind Turbine Pole - Octagonal

    Our galvanished steel Wind Turbine Poles are especially designed for use with our 5KW or our 10kw Wind Turbines but they can also be used with our smaller Wind Turbines from 1kw up to 10kw.

The walls of this pole are 6mm thick and galvanished inside and out, the pole top has a welded flange which corresponds to the flange on the your choosen Wind Turbine, each of our wind turbines needs a different sized steel flange.

The base of the pole sits on a 700mm octagonal base and it is hinged for easy erection

You will need 64 cubic metres of steel reinforced concrete as a base and in extreme wind locations we recommend you use resistors ( or a brake switch )  to slow down the Wind Turbine as an out of control wind turbine has the abilty to collapse any and all turbine poles.
